As well as full Windows Vista and XP compatibility, the new features are as follows:

• Use of Student Registry number as a prime field (optional)
• New docking windows approach
• Revised scheme for handling access rights
• Handles TCP/IP and Telenet Poller RS485
• Book alarm events recorded
• Optional member picture display
• Real time updates to statistics window

Now used in over 150 academic libraries and resource centres in the UK and Ireland, the growing user base has enabled Telepen to continue to expand the product to keep it at the leading edge of academic library software.

Sentry Isis is another step on the evolutionary path of Sentry Access Control Software. Telepen will continue to upgrade and enhance its software to ensure that both existing and future customers receive the best possible end product. This process will be assisted by the upcoming Sentry User Group in December 2009, where Sentry users are invited to discuss their ideas for the future of the product as well as learn more about the  latest upgrades in Sentry Isis.
