Codeco's sorting module is called the MARK10. The unit comprises a tilting main belt and a 10 cm wide supporting belt. The main belt comprises a number of nylon strings. Between these strings a so-called "diverter" is activated. The procedure for conveying a book is as follows: The book passes through the MARK4 automatic return machine and then runs out onto the sorting module. Now the book is tilted against the main belt, the back resting on the supporting belt. At suitable speed, the book is now conveyed in the belt's direction of motion. When the book is opposite the book trolley into which the book has been assigned to tilt, the diverter will discharge the book into the waiting trolley. After discharge, the diverter will revert to its starting position again.

The standard sorting module will accomodate a total of 5 bins. If any further sorting destinations are required, more modules can be added as required.
