Codeco's inventory reader enables library staff to easily identify tagged RFID items on the shelves. To improve ergonomics for the library staff the antenna and reader have been split, the only part which has to be held in hand is the ultra light weight antenna which only weighs approximately 100 grams.

The lightweight handheld antenna has been specially designed to perform fast and accurate inventory checks and also to search for specific items.

The software can register items on the shelves or search for specific items, thus it supports processes such as re-shelving, weeding, searching for reserved items etc.

The antenna and reader reads the RFID tags at a rate 15 books per second.
