The Mark6 is the latest RFID Self Service Unit from Codeco.  This unit was developed from inuput from several prominent customers at the design stage to ensure that the unit was user friendly.

This latest design is built into a wooden cabinet and is manually height adjustable for indiviual requirements such as children and wheelchair users.  As an option, the unit could be delivered with an electrically driven height adjustment feature.

With the Mark6, some of the facilities available are:

Checking In and Out of library materials
Extension of the lending period
Printing receipts
Different language selection (English, German and Danish are standard)

To check materials out, the Mark6 works with the user inserting their library card into the card reader of the unit.  The Pin Code is entered after the card has been validated.  The materials are placed on the RFID antenna and are then listed on the touch screen.  When all materials are booked out, the user removes the library card and the receipt is printed.

The Check In of materials is as above, but a library card is not necessary.
