Securit 5000 is the ideal solution for medium to high volume plastic card production. It is a network based application, combining advanced functionalities with a user-friendly interface. Securit 5000 is divided into three modules: Database Layout Creator (DBLC), Badge Creator (BC) and BadgeMaker (BM). DBLC contains an easy to configure, user definable database module. This is where you create your database fields and decide on the field attributes. The BC card layout module allows the user to create a variety of card templates. These first two modules are used to set up the database and templates. Once these are completed, you use the BM module to add or modify data, take pictures, add signatures and select the required layout for printing. Images can be grabbed via a CCD or digital camera or any TWAIN supported device. Our compression ratios allow for large quantities of records to be stored.

All common types of encoding are supported in the Securit 5000, such as barcode, magnetic stripe and chip. All encoding information can be previewed on the screen to check that you have keyed the correct information prior to printing. You can also preview the layout of the card.

If you have your employee information in an existing database then Securit 5000 has the ability to import any ascii file which means that you simply find the appropriate record in Securit 5000, add the photograph and print - no typing!
